This one is really close to my heart. My feature about the Turkish photographer Olgaç Bozalp with images (that I love) from his newly released book ‘Mustafa‘.
“Mustafa is an edict to anyone who has ever pushed parts of their identity to the wayside, believing it to be inferior. It honors the distinct and equal beauty of the ‘other,’ through portraits, landscapes and everyday moments. Mustafa’s journey into himself immediately becomes our own. Our own acceptance of who we are, celebrating the gift of diversity, seeing the world, finally, from an even field, seeing it as multifarious, every layer as important and valid as the other.”
