Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu for T: The New York Times Style Magazine MENA

My feature about Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu, who is most famous for being the first woman to design a mosque. With her Istanbul-based interior design firm, she has also completed more than 600 projects to date, from the luxurious The Peninsula Istanbul to private Bosphorus waterfront mansions to the Grand Mosque at The Pearl Qatar and more. Her own home is her most instinctive and personal project yet, a restored Ottoman era structure behind a lush garden and filled with a collection of inherited, collected and discovered objects, all gathered over decades.
